I am responsible for saying that I don't like this movie, but because of Michael Haneke, I still feel uncomfortable.
It is estimated that the title of "director of horrific violence" was obtained through this film. Of course, it is not something ordinary people can do without making people shudder without direct bloody descriptions. The former [Glacier Trilogy] who had the skill to "frozen three feet", and later there are four works that still show endless conflicts after moving to France. This is the Michael Haneke who said "Movies are 24 lie in every minute".
lie. The hostess was in extreme panic and shot one of the boys with a gun. This peeping shot was immediately turned back abruptly by a remote control. This turning point in line with the heart's wishes turned out to be just a lie.
The director only shows us what he wants us to see. There is no room for this choice, just like the film itself.
Haneke has always given facts but not answers. On three occasions, the boy manipulating the "game" looked towards the camera. Behind this, the director is also asking the audience questions. In the absence of choice, ask yourself boldly: Are we the victims of isolation and helplessness? Or is it an accomplice?
Maybe someone really wants to torture themselves? Of course, people who simply enjoy violence will not be addicted to this movie.
The director's attitude towards violence should be calm and frank, not infatuated.
So after some incoherent talk, I realized that it was such a movie: Even if I didn't like it, I still had to admit its invulnerability.
