It is already at the end of the twelfth lunar month that people have been wrapped in winter clothes, and the memories of summer are slowly fading. When this film was released, it happened that I had nothing to do, so I went to check it out. Unexpectedly, the time was not good enough to wait until 9.30 in the evening. Check the ticket and enter the venue. I was thinking that it might be another unpopular bad movie, and the lights in the projection hall suddenly dimmed, and I couldn't help taking a nap.
Was awakened by the slamming of the door, and realized that he was already in Petersburg at midnight. As soon as I looked up, the same movie was playing on the computer in front of me, and there was not much progress bar left before I realized that snowflakes had floated outside the window. This is not a warm story. On the contrary, the cold tone at the beginning of the story in the swimming pool has established a dangerous story baseline. The narrative is straightforward. There is no trace of muddy water or redundant characters. The heroine received a call from her sister during the swimming training. I can’t connect with my father. The bright swimming pool, where the extreme weather began, and the dark and dim basement. All the elements I like are well used.
Ignoring the evacuation order and the danger, the hostess went to his father's house and finally found the dying father in the basement. When the giant crocodile appeared, the hostess was at a loss from the sudden death of her boyfriend. Later, his helplessness and hesitation were all in place. On the emotional line, from the initial misunderstanding of his father to the later frankness, he finally had the courage to rescue his father. From the role played by fate to the fight against her, the planned escape route in the second half of the movie with a strong vitality of the female warrior failed again and again, and the heroine was fooled by fate again and again. I don't know if it is over-interpreted. The wooden walls, canvas barriers, scaffolding, steel skeletons, ladders and trusses in the film resemble the messy life of the heroine before. The ending is a secular ending that I prefer. There is no suspense. She rescued her father and redeemed herself and ushered in a new life.
