I’m a teacher living overseas. Recently Christmas is approaching. Our school’s leaders organized children to watch this film. It’s on the NETFLIX platform. Of course, when I saw NETFLIX, I felt a little stunned and thought it should be. Wouldn't it be that kind of film again? After watching it with the children for more than an hour, it proved that my instinct was right.
Why is it a bad movie to teach bad kids?
1. The little girl in the film can't hide her habit of swearing swearing when recording to the camera. If you are familiar with modern Western movies, swearing is a very common (but abnormal) feature. This shot is actually subconsciously brainwashing children, that is, it is normal for children to speak bad words, but they still have to converge in front of the camera.
2. The girl’s elder brother and the gangster steal the car together and were photographed by the younger sister. In the end, the younger sister resisted not telling her mother. The result was that the elder brother stole the car and chased the elk with Santa Claus, which indirectly led to the police. Intervention, if the sister told her mother at the very beginning, it would be blame at best, which is better than facing the police. So is it helping or hurting brother?
3. When the mother left home, the little girl said to her brother, "Let's watch PG13 or R movies." Isn't this tricking the children to watch movies that shouldn't be watched? !
4. Santa Claus completely abandoned the amiable personality, and instead became a narcissist. An old man who is sarcasm, provocative, grumpy, and low-quality. In order to chase the elk, agree to use the stolen car to chase them, saying that they will be returned to the police station in the end. In the film, the police do not believe him at all, so this is not to encourage the children to do your "just cause", regardless of the means. Legal, regardless of other people’s feelings, not hesitating to be caught by the police, to put it bluntly is to encourage crime.
5. As for the elves, when you think they are cute, they show a brutal or aggressive side in the movie. Even when facing a little girl, they are not provoked but they are tied up. The question is, according to the video records of many people, there really is a species of dwarf in this world. In your film, when children meet real elves, what kind of mentality do you use to face them? Love or fear?
6. In the prison, what song does that Santa sing? The "PRETTY BABY" on the left and the "LITTLE BABY" on the right seem to be love songs. I sing love songs to a group of girls. I have a wife in my family. This is not appropriate if I don't talk about the quality of the songs. Not to instill in children, whether you have a lover or not, when you flirt, be single?
7. At the end of the film, Santa actually stole the videotape of the little girl! The older brother in the film was rather open and thought it was "reasonable" to do so. So Santa stole the video tape because he did something wrong? If he really thinks something is wrong in it, wouldn't it discredit the image of Santa Claus? And teach the children that if you do something wrong, you can secretly take away the evidence.
If I were not for the school to organize students to watch this movie, I would not go to watch Western movies without problems. It is no longer the same. Now western children and teenagers have been brainwashed into narcissists, just like the movies. The roles are the same. They directly bitch and scream at each other. So, Western movies and TV shows are poisonous. Parents must keep their children away from these spiritual foods in the West.
Digression: The longer you stay in the West, you will find that there is no culture in the West, but Chinese culture is called culture. Teaching people to be kind, courtesy, justice, and shame, gentle, courteous, thrifty and conciliatory, these are all treasures. Being rich does not mean high quality! Besides, China is getting richer and richer now.
