Empathy can be regarded as a relatively low-level ability of human beings. Anti-social personality without empathy will regard society as a "Chinese house". They can grasp the rules of society on the "bright side" but cannot understand the "potential" social rules-morality.
There have been many murderers with anti-social personality in history. They are smart enough to realize the vacancies in the explicit social knowledge and cultural structure, and can make full use of the vacancies to satisfy their own "desires".
For the entire society, if this "desire" is extremely harmful to "morality", we call it a crime.
There are others who have not reached the bottom line of harming morality and touching the law, or they have gone in another direction, and have produced certain benefits to human society.
These people are mixed in society and we cannot distinguish them.
If empathy is regarded as the basic characteristics of people and the basis of some rules, will the social forms of people with two different abilities evolve in different directions?
