If you are a captain, you must first protect your crew and cargo. When danger comes, you need not only calmness, but also courage. They are looking at you, you are their brain.
Greengrass's accustomed hand-held lens is already innocent in "Captain Philip". As a film adapted from real events, although the ending has been set without suspense, it is the excellent pirate game atmosphere that has achieved the level. Layers advance, so that the ambition of the film is far more than the American hero of the main theme.
Although there is no surprise that makes me quite excited, the standard of the film is quite high, and Hanks and Greengrass are playing steadily. Successfully avoid the gray and boredom caused by seriousness, which is often committed in this type of subject matter. I was worried about the length of the opening, but it was straight to the point and the rhythm was right. A sense of blockbuster shots at medium cost. At the end, the ruthless record of the scene and the emotional touch of the finishing touch can make up for the strange IQ of the military and the bandit.
After reading through the original story and some details, the adaptations of the film are relatively unreal. But Hanks’ acting skills are really great, focusing on the last ten minutes of the film. Overall it is a good movie.
