Dabai was originally a product of high technology, a cute creature with no emotions and no understanding of the world. He was invented by the protagonist’s brother as a gift to the protagonist, and his appearance has strengthened the protagonist’s love for high technology.
Dabai is cute and stupid, probably because of the technological settings. Although he can only say those few words, he wholeheartedly protects the protagonist, helps the protagonist do some things, and overcomes some difficulties.
At the end of the film, in order to save the protagonist, he disappeared and will never come back. It is really heartbroken and tears are made here.
I believe most people want to have a real Dabai after watching this movie~
