"Young Hannibal" which is thinking about your shadow

Gong Li is the heroine of the film. She plays a Japanese woman whose family was destroyed by the atomic bomb. Gong Li's English is not very pure, but she speaks very seriously.
The actor Hannibal is a relative of Gong Li. During World War II, his parents were killed in gunfire, leaving him and his sister. Then they were trapped with a few German troops. Under the attack of hunger, his sister was boiled and eaten by the German army. After the war, he frantically retaliated against the soldiers with very cruel methods.
At first, when the police investigated Hannibal, Gong Li also covered up for him. Later, she couldn't stand it anymore, but persuasion was ineffective. It can be seen that Gong Li's role is not very important. What is important? For example, "Time" magazine recently announced the 2007 Person of the Year: Influential talents are important.
The director painstakingly arranged five different murder scenes, and the actor's coldness and perversion were fully revealed. Especially the shots that bit the cheeks of the deceased were horrible.
In the second half of the film, the German soldier who was bitten on the cheek after his death asked Hannibal before he was killed: He was also involved in cannibalism, why didn't he kill himself? I think this is the climax of the plot development, but the camera did not stay here for long. Maybe the director knows that smart audiences have long thought: If Hannibal didn't eat, how could he survive?
The German army also said that the reason why Hannibal wanted to kill everyone present was to cover up his "crime." These words made Hannibal even more hysterical because of his heart disease.
In a few flashes of footage, we can see Hannibal lying next to the pot, greedy and salivating. Survival is an unavoidable issue for a boy who loves his sister. Maybe he knew that he could only avenge his sister if he lived, because he hadn't been able to protect her before.
Is this to bear the burden of humiliation, or to help the abuser? Can Hannibal answer this question? Can we give the answer? How do we choose when we are in that environment? Will we choose to go hungry, and then let those German soldiers make a facelift and be at ease? These questions are difficult to answer and can only be attributed to the war.
The movie started with a small wild boar searching for food in the forest. Later, two or three close-ups of wolf head specimens appeared, grinning and showing a few strings of jewellery inside. These shots imply that the actions of the Germans and Hannibal were primitive, wild, and bloody. The war caused them to become barbarians, because when facing survival, the human body is also food, no different from other things that can fill your stomach: people have lost their dignity as human beings.
In this way, Hannibal looked a lot like the Jews. "Li Ao has something to say" mentioned that after World War II, some senior German leaders who had led the Jewish massacre were captured by the Jews back to Israel and secretly killed.
Retaliation is to regain the dignity that people lost in the war. Hannibal made those people pay the price of their lives because they had committed crimes but were at ease. However, compared to the Jews, he had to face such a dilemma: He also participated in cannibalism, despite the helplessness. While punishing criminals, he is also punishing himself. So he was deeply in pain, which also led to his abnormal psychology.
The other side of the perversion is extraordinary ability. Hannibal is very smart, well-thought-out, well-planned, and cruel, making the resistance of the Germans seem soft and weak.
Hannibal finally embarked on a road of no return, like the car that faded away at the end of the film. Gong Li's family was destroyed by the atomic bomb. At first, her heart was filled with hatred. The secret room of her house was filled with Bushido idols and swords. But she was not caught in revenge like him, so she later persuaded him that it should be enough. But Hannibal couldn't do it because he was burdened with sins that Gong Li didn't have.
This sin was caused by the war, but Hannibal had to bear it alone.
