It is very difficult for aspiring actors to play the same role. So Henry Fonda later played the big villain in "Once Upon a Time in the West", which is a necessary step for a good actor.
Denzel Washington is certainly not as great as Henry Fonda, but he chose this "Limited Time Tracking" also to expand his play.
As one often sees, Matthias, the protagonist of "Limited Time Tracking", is a character who is both good and evil. But this is not to say that this guy is a Chaos Good character like Bao Xiaoqiang, in fact, he should be regarded as Natural Good.
Matthias is a police chief in the small town of Miami. He is divorcing and has a married lover. In addition, he is a very decent person.
What made him both righteous and evil is that he fell into a trap. He lent the stolen money from the police station as evidence to his secret lover, and his lover's house exploded that night, leaving two bodies behind. A large group of police rushed to investigate the case. People from the Drug Enforcement Department also suddenly demanded the stolen money.
Matthias wants to investigate the truth of the trap while preventing other police officers from discovering his relationship with the case. He must also find out the stolen money before others.
The script of the movie is very well written, and it feels somewhat similar to "24 Hours".
But Denzel Washington's performance can only be regarded as mediocre. He has shown the pressure of this role and his determination to resist. But most of him still has a righteous face. When walking outside the law, it doesn't give people the feeling of ignoring the law.
Of course, this is just a one-step thriller and should not be too demanding. In this sense, this movie is quite exciting.
IMDB scored 6.5 (9271 people voted), I scored 6.
