Little Children is an ideal state

After watching it for a long time, I think about this movie again.

Many of the torn fragments seem to have some connections.

The long movie lasts nearly two hours. Whether it is playful or silent, it seems to be silent during the whole process.

I don't know why Little Children was translated into "As a Mother".

Perhaps these are two different ways to see the world.

The whole movie can't guess what will happen in the next second in the first second, until the end, it is expected.

In fact, we are really Little Children, and Little Children is an ideal state, but it makes us insecure.

In the end, it was impossible to return to the state of reality, perhaps, the state of being a mother.

Little Children quotes

  • Narrator: Sexual tension is an elusive thing, but Kathy had pretty good radar for it. It was like someone had turned a knob to the right, and the radio station clicked in so loud and clear it almost knocked her over. Once she became aware of the connection between them, it seemed impossible that she'd missed it before.

  • Brad Adamson: [talking about his wife] She makes documentaries.

Sarah Pierce: Oh, like Michael Moore?

    Brad Adamson: Like PBS.
