I heard the anchor recommend this show on a female blog show. It was not spoiled at all, and did not hold high expectations for this drama. As a result, the experience of watching the drama was super good, and I was very satisfied with the screenwriter, director and two heroines.
After reading the entire first season, I really admire the skill and level of the screenwriter. The characters are three-dimensional and full, the story is ups and downs, and the ups and downs are reasonable and unexpected. I can almost completely substitute the perspective of the heroine Jen. Her grief, kindness, anger, meanness, panic, and perseverance are so true and credible. It is really commendable.
A woman like Jen is probably not very popular in life. She is emotionally unstable, and almost every episode has her swear words. She has a strong personality. Although her husband has not officially appeared on the stage, one can imagine the disharmony of strong women and weak men in the relationship between husband and wife. She is impulsive and mean, and often speaks unpleasantly in mutual aid groups. And she is so straightforward, fearless, strong and kind, which makes me involuntarily admired and admired as an audience.
There is hardly any real villain in the story, just the masses in modern society. Even a selfish scum like Steve did something quite understandable, not useless. It is in such an ordinary reality environment, among mediocre characters of all colors, the story unfolds layer by layer, and the hidden secrets are slowly revealed. All kinds of conflicts, transitions and suspense are intertwined one by one, which makes people fearful and wanting to stop. Every foreshadowing has echoes, every sentence has a purpose, and everything has consequences. The skill of the director really convinced me.
It's been a long time since I watched a series with such a beautiful and smooth plot and such an outstanding performance.
