Don't believe public opinion

After studying communication for 4 years, I don't believe in public opinion anymore. This film just repeats my existing concept: public opinion is in the hands of people who know how to manipulate public opinion. The more it spreads to the masses, the less important the truth is, and people are more willing to believe in explanations that suit their ability to understand, rather than the truth. It seems that the truth is more important than the truth.
There is a shadow theory in communication: what we see is only the shadow of facts. How similar this shadow is to the object that produces the shadow depends on the light. Who owns the light? Who holds public opinion?
Have you ever played a killing game? A skilled murderer can always kill inexperienced innocents. This is decided by democratic voting. Is the public an accomplice?
So, don't trust public opinion, even if it seems real.

To present amazing critical power in an entertaining way (sharp becomes acceptable-but still sharp, and entertainment has a certain depth-but still entertainment), perhaps the greatest creativity of American cinema lies in this. produce a war, make a hero, invent a history, a highly creative three-act play. Hoffman and De Niro are really brilliant.

Conrad 'Connie' Brean: Yeah, but there wasn't a war.

Stanley Motss: All the greater accomplishment.
