Neo/Thomas Anderson
In Hebrew, Thomas means twins. This symbolizes Neo’s usual dual identities: one is programmer Thomas Anderson, the other is hacker Neo. Anderson means "son of man" in Hebrew, which is exactly the identity of Jesus.
After the three letters that make up Neo are reversed, they can form "one", which means that he is the savior of mankind "The One". The original meaning of the word "Christ" in Hebrew is "the designated person"-The One.
Morpheus (Morpheus)
In Greek mythology, Morpheus is the god of dreams and has the ability to change dreams. In the movie, Morpheus is the guide who awakens people from the dreamlike illusory world.
