Joe had a mental breakdown after learning the truth. After sending a gift and some diamonds to Marie, he chose to imprison himself. After receiving Joe's letter and gifts, Marie left the residence and embarked on a journey. Why did Marie leave and where will she go?
Seeing her steadfast eyes and the toy Joe gave her in front of the car, I think she might choose to leave her work and life and go to him desperately. The second possibility is that she leaves her sad place to find a new city and start a new life.
If it is the first type, this is indeed a very moody and sad ending, and I personally feel that it is more delicate than the Korean version.
