What should I say?

Watching the entire film, I couldn't find any words to describe how it made me feel for a while. Confusion is mixed with heartache, desire is mixed with innocence. It seems that this film is draped in the cloak of child sexual assault, and it has attracted a lot of criticism. After watching it, I didn't have any hatred for the baseball coach in the film. The film avoids those taboo shots intentionally or unintentionally. If you don't carefully taste and continue to watch the movie, you can't tell what the coach has done to the two teenagers.

Although the film does not contain too many sexual scenes and explicit scenes, there are still many fantasy and shocking sexual descriptions. Neil and Brian are two models, two too extreme models. Although Neil has become unruly under the haze of childhood, on the contrary, Brian has always believed that since that experience of being violated. It's just his contact with people in outer space, and he has become introverted and autistic. But two people are equally distressing.

The two shots of the film shocked me the most. When Neil in New York had sex with the sick man covered in scars, he saw in his eyes hatred and helplessness towards the past, which seemed to be a kind of self-rejection, but it was also a kind of ignorance and materiality. The other thing is that at the end of the film, Neil and Brian quietly recalled everything that happened that day in the house where the coach and their carnival ten years ago. They seemed to become so vulnerable, even though Neil still behaved like a stray. Unruly, Brian acted at a loss, but I still felt that they had recovered what they had lost ten years ago. The bodies that they hugged each other slowly became smaller, and slowly disappeared into the house in the dark, without knowing those. Will the haze of the past disappear into the night?

What is worth mentioning is what Neil said to his friends when he was living a life like a male prostitute: Maybe the coach had true love for them at that time. Is this a sarcasm or a confession? What should we say, no way of knowing.
