It's been teased again

In 2015, there were 8 nominated films for the Oscars. Among the trailers of these 8 films, the one that attracted me the most was the "American Sniper". After watching the 3 trailers, the desire to watch movies grew. The stronger.

The first trailer: I saw an Arab boy through the scope of a sniper rifle, with the blurry figure of an American soldier in front of him. A shoulder-mounted rocket launcher on the ground attracted his attention. The weapon had been loaded with deadly missiles. Facing this big guy who was taller than himself, the boy tried to lift it to his shoulders. The picture cuts to the male protagonist Kyle, watching the boy's behavior, only listening to Kyle repeatedly chanting "Don't pick up. Don't pick up.", his voice is full of anxiety and expectations. Accompanied by drum-like background music, the heartbeat is getting faster and faster. The boy in the sniper scope was struggling to pick up the weapon and was adjusting the target of the launcher, aiming at the position of the American soldier, and Kyle’s index finger was getting closer and closer to the trigger.••••• • Then the trailer came to an abrupt end.

The second notice: Also through the scope, there is also a boy, this time an older woman handed over the cannonball-like object into the boy's hands, and in front of them is a small US military squad. The picture is constantly switching between the memory of the boy taking the weapon and running to the American soldier and Kyle. The happy newcomer, the newborn baby, the wounded comrade-in-arms, the far away soldier, Kyle's happiness and grief flash in front of his eyes one by one. Also between the boy's running forward and Kyle's index finger getting closer and closer to the trigger, the trailer ended.
The third trailer: The content is more detailed, especially the two phone calls between Kyle and his wife. The impression is very deep: a battlefield where Kyle hides behind a bunker and loudly tells his wife "I'm ready to go home" . In a blink of an eye, it came to the second pass, a quiet bar. Watching a football game on TV, Kyle received a call from his wife. When faced with the question of why he would not return home, he hugged his head and shed tears.
The main themes of war films are always so two, strong personal heroism exudes strong male hormones, or constant tossing and turning in the struggle of human nature. The identity of the sniper is an excellent career for a lone hero. Kyle has served four times and has attacked 166 enemies according to official statistics. He is undoubtedly a "legend" of the US military and a "demon" in the eyes of the enemy. In the trailer, Kyle's performance is so tangled, vaguely feel that there must be a very deep theme hidden in the biographical film of this legendary hero.

Imagination is always beautiful, reality is always cruel. It turned out that all the entanglements were put into the trailer, and they turned out to be all that I had originally expected. It is no surprise that the film was nominated for best editing. It is quite commendable to be able to cut such a wonderful preview of such a warm film. As for the other nominations-Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, I had no choice but to laugh.

PS: In the trailer of the movie, it was mentioned that during the production of the film, bad news came and Kyle was shot and killed. The hero did not fall on the most dangerous battlefield, but suffered misfortune in his homeland. When I saw the news, my inspiration suddenly flashed. If the end of the film is Kyle's funeral documentary, it should work well. Then when the real ending appeared, I still wet my eyes when I looked at the crowd and the flying national flag in the camera.
