Good Movies Appreciation

This is one of the few good movies I have seen recently. This film is completely unconventional, and it exudes a touch of affection like a movie of boys and girls. Because it is combined with the major event of ethnic integration in the era, this event is more meaningful. In the end, they were unable to surpass friendship because of their race, and Dai Qian was also lonely for life, which is regrettable.
Miss Dai Qian is a rational and strict person. Even if she is old, she is still beautiful and tidy. I really admire her.
Holly is extremely tolerant, always arousing the warm side of others, is a good man that every woman yearns for, but with distinct class characteristics, screaming, stiff joints and so on.
Most of the scenes in the film are in beautiful gardens, houses, and lawns, so that the audience is always immersed in the elegant world of Miss Dai Qian. Only the relationship between master and servant is always painful. The series of differences in clothing and language brought out by this relationship are really awkward.
I think the two actors have a good grasp of the relationship between master and servant and friendship.
I feel that the photography is also very good. It captures the subtle shots, but it is not sensational and speaks objectively.
The screenwriter also maintains this rhythm, calm and calm.

It's good, but it's a bit long, 90 minutes should be more appropriate

lovely. Who said a bland drama can't make a good movie? Freeman can play a 70-year-old man in his 50s, and his acting skills are good.

Hoke Colburn: Yes, sir. Yes, sir, I sure do. And, don't you worry about a thing, Mr. Werthan! I'm gonna hold on no matter how she run me. You see, I used to rassle hogs down yonder in Macon, and, let me tell you, ain't no hog got away from me yet!

  • Daisy Werthan: [Talking about Idella's passing] Idella was lucky.

Hoke Colburn: Yes'm. I expect she was.
