Thanks to Yaxing, I went to see the premiere of the movie "The Theory of Everything" today. Although Hawking's biography has not been put on the big screen before, the movie is as familiar as an old friend. I have already filled in the pictures of the key points in his life.

If the fans have levels, I think I can be regarded as Hawking’s hardcore fan. When I was young, I watched "A Brief History of Time" and "Universe in a Nutshell". When I grew up, I read his biography. Then Hawking came to the People's Congress in 2006 I was also fortunate to attend the lecture. After reading some simple books on quantum mechanics and relativity, I finally got some understanding of his work. Of course, on academic matters, I, a layman, cannot express any deeper opinions. However, watching the movie today made me finally understand what kind of path Hawking took.

If John Nash’s difficulty is just being trapped in the quagmire of mental delusions, then what Hawking encounters is the mountain in the bitter cold land of the far north. He has to climb and at the same time his body is frozen, unable to move.

However, Hawking not only climbed the mountain, but also planted a flag, shouting loudly for others to come up.

Of course at the top of the mountain, there is his wife Jane. She lifted a heavy wheelchair, carried Hawking, and climbed the mountain little by little. And if the body fails to go up the mountain, Hawking's spirit has long been wiped out.

What kind of love can make such a big sacrifice? Of course, you can say that Jane believes in God and has special feelings for saving people in pain. You can suspect that Jane just has a first love for Hawking and wants to give everything for him. It can be said how Jane could cheat and be good with others. , It can even be said that Jane just wanted to give Hawking a little color in the last two years of his life. But it's useless to say that, because if there was no Jane, Hawking would have been unable to live long ago.

At the beginning of this year, I had a problem with my retina. It was not a serious disease. The doctor said that it would be cured by hitting a bubble and doing a few laser and condensation surgeries. At that time, I seemed to be terminally ill, feeling that my life was really getting old and dying. In fact, even now that the retina has returned to its place, the vision of my left eye has indeed been irreparably affected. When I first had symptoms, looking at my missing vision every day and watching the dark shadow slowly developing towards the center, I really experienced the fear that life would end. I'm afraid I really can't work, live, marry a wife and have children like normal people. From then on, the words "Blindness in the left eye" will be added to the front of my life. I will not be able to judge distance, cannot drive, and can only live with one eye for the rest of my life. Fortunately, with the sincere help of the people around me and the superb medical skills of the doctor, I finally overcome my psychological and physical difficulties and survived.

What Hawking faced was a doomed failure. All he can do is postpone the day of failure a little bit.

Seeing Hawking got his medical certificate, facing Jane's face decisively, Jane persisted, enlightened him, wiped his glasses, and even offered to marry him. Dad Huo told Jane that Hawking's illness was not a battle, but a doomed failure. Let her consider it clearly. Jane only said three words, I love him. At that moment, I really cried.

During my most difficult period, I often thought that there would never be a girl in the world who would be willing to accompany me. Even if there was, my eyes would be blind one day, and she would leave me. And I really don't want to let myself be a burden, so I failed the girl's youth.

The appearance of Jane seems to give me another glimmer of hope in my dim life. I think there might be such a girl. Even if my eyes are really out of sight, I will do my best to make her live a good life. Let her all efforts and efforts are not in vain.

Just like Nash and Hawking did.
