Sigh no more ladies, sigh no more,
Men were deceivers ever,
One foot in sea and one on shore,
To one thing constant never.
Then sigh not so, but let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into hey nonny, nonny, nonny.
Sing no more ditties, sing no more
Of dumps so dull and heavy,
The fraud of men was ever so,
Since summer first was leafy.
Then sigh not so, but let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into hey nonny, nonny, nonny.
Then sigh not so, but let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into hey nonny, nonny, nonny. Then
I felt that Shakespeare’s works were not originally high in the altar. Later, I found a remake of the modern version of The Taming of the Shrew, Midsummer Night dreams and nothing more than watching, full of interest, I remember Romeo and Juliet who were translated by high school in the past, I feel that the language inside is artificial and numb to death, why it sounds so pleasant and musical after being turned into English.
Today, I saw a Midsummer Night’s Dream filmed in 1999. Compared with the modern version, there are more plots of artisans performing dramas behind, and the pictures of Wonderland are more fantastic and wonderful. Both Cassiopeia and Hippolyta are amazing. At first glance, Hippolyta is really beautiful, a bit like Sophie Marceau. After checking, it turns out that
the donkey in the film is much better than the modern version, and the acting skills are also good, but there is no such thing. The fat man felt so happy. Because I looked at the modern version first, the extra section at the end made me feel a little bit procrastinated, but it was a bit of a laugh when I watched it slowly. This version should respect the original and be more in line with the aesthetic rhythm of the people of that era, right?
I hope I can take time to calm down and read Shakespeare's original work. British literature and film and television dramas really make me want to stop!
