The colors are so beautiful

Speaking of it, the movie of Brother Darnet and I are quite fate.
A few years ago I watched a film during the film school exam. It was one of the few French films I watched at the time. After watching the teacher asked the film to be named according to my own feelings, the name that came to my mind instantly. It is "Son of Others". I didn’t know the Darnet brothers before, let alone watched their movie. It’s just that the plot of that movie left a deep impression on me. Later, I gradually lost my memory of the details of the story, but the tone and atmosphere have always been Stayed in my mind.
Until I watched "Two Days and One Night", I always felt that I must have seen the work of the same director somewhere. As a result, I found "Le Fils" (Son of Others), a 2002 film, in the resume of the Darnet brothers. It was my exam question, and I found another movie that I completely forgot where I watched-"Children" in 2005.
This kind of subconscious association is quite interesting. In many cases, watching a movie is not just for knowing the plot. The influence of an image on the mood may be lingering. Of course I like to watch things with more impactful plots, but for this type of film I regard it as having a kind of charm close to literary works, and I also pay tribute to the director's personal style that can have such an impact on the audience.
On the other hand, I am very grateful to my goddess Cotillard, and I met again with the Darnet brothers completely because Deux Jours, une nuit’s heroine is her, and it’s perfect for her to portray the character Sandra, she The performances and films are completely natural.
I think I should know what made me keep my eyes on such a story, so I tried to analyze it.
The focus of "Two Days and One Night" is very clear. It clearly and simply explains that the female worker Sandra is facing the plight of being laid off and urgently needs the support of her colleagues to vote. There are only two possibilities for the ending: stay or leave. This structure is great. It makes the heroine's progress in winning votes full of tension. It does not deliberately create drama and suspense, but it can make viewers feel that they are closely connected with the fate of the characters in the film, and desire her from the heart. Get the final victory. I think the greatest pleasure in appreciating this kind of realist works lies in this, that is, the pressure does not come from the director, but from the individual wishes of the viewer.
Although the French films I have watched in the past few years are pitiful, each one is fine, and each one has the characteristics of Western European countries. They left me with a gentle and courteous impression.
Perhaps the attitude of "Two Days and One Night" is normal in the works of the Darnet brothers, but in my opinion, it is really amazing. I like every shot of it and every scene in it. One detail always marvels at the director's ability to capture beauty. So this story is not at all boring and oppressive, but it is full of freshness and vitality.
Cotillard did not change her image as a female worker in the film. She is simple and haggard but still neat and tidy. In fact, the appearance of her blue jeans and candy-colored vest is very moving, but very convincing. I think everyone who sees her, even if they haven't come into contact with the various roles she starred in before, will love her Sandra look. The value is true. This effect is of course inseparable from the overall tone of the movie. The first impression it gives me is clean, lively and bright color blocks, pure air and bright sunlight, which fully demonstrate the beauty of the natural environment and also set off the characters. The dilemma faced.
The ending of the movie can be regarded as a tragic ending in a sense, but this accurate capture of beauty dispels the sad emotions to a certain extent, gives the viewers spiritual comfort, and controls the temperature of the story to the right degree.
It is such a short story that takes place in a closed space for two days and one night, but it has a relatively high degree of completion. In addition to the delicate and smooth pictures, there are also accurate interpretations of different characters, as well as a keen perception and rational analysis of reality. Perfectly done.
"Two Days and One Night" once again showed me the noble character of European directors. They really regarded film as an art, or a social essay, and created it with seriousness and care.
