Jennifer Aniston, family, comedy, put these words together, the first movie I thought of was 2011's "Follow the Flow". This mixed-respected work received four nominations in the Golden Plum Awards that year, and finally allowed Adam Sandler to win back a Worst Actor Award. But as a Jennifer Aniston fan who loves American comedy, I really like "Follow the Stream". The reason is simple. It is fun and lively enough, and you don't need to think about it at all, just hold the popcorn and smirk. So my first impression after watching "Fake Families" is that the story of this film "Better Than Follow the Stream" is more old-fashioned, illogical, and has no bottom line, but it is more attractive than "Better Than Follow the Stream". The reason is that "Fake Families" is more simple and direct, and the director is just to tell you a joke. As long as you laugh, the movie is a success. With laughter, farce and family warmth, this movie is like a mixed and condensed version of the American drama "Modern Family" + "The Hangover" + "Mission Impossible".

A drug dealer accepts a dangerous task to save his life. He wants to transport a large box of drugs back to the United States from Mexico. In order to accomplish this impossible task, he hired a homeless rebellious girl, a simple otaku who didn't even hold the girl's hands, and a stripper who couldn't pay the rent. Drug dealers asked them to act as their family members in order to hide from others as they crossed the Mexican border. The four hapless children formed a family of imposters, all the way to Mexico. During the journey, they encountered various accidents. They were sexually blackmailed by the Mexican police, the station wagon broke down, hit by mistake, and the anti-narcotics police became their travel companions, drug dealers chased them all the way back, and the otaku was bitten by a poisonous spider, etc. . When all the difficulties were resolved, the four people never wanted to be separated again. They formed a new family without any blood relationship. The mission failed, but family affection was gained. This is the whole story.

The story is too clichéd. Even the solutions to various crises are naive. For example, the sexual extortion proposed by the Mexican police can be solved with a simple misunderstanding (not spoiler), the border was forcibly checked, and a few Mexican smugglers who did not know where they came from were fooled. The baby crisis was also passed by a reason for mental disability. What's more ridiculous is that the drug dealers who chased them all the way were knocked down without a few strokes. The director made it clear that he didn't want to make the transition of the plot the focus of the film. These stories and sections are also meant to tell you a joke. This movie is meant to amuse you. All kinds of nasty jokes and sexual cues have become the focus of the film. For example, the sexual life of middle-aged couples is not harmonious, and the sexual confusion of teenagers. Even the hit American drama "Forensic Medicine for Blood Addiction" was also used to tease. Jennifer Aniston even danced a real undress (you can't see it if you are out of shape).

If you have to find any meaning for this movie, it's about how to rebuild family relationships. Several of the protagonists in the film are lonely, unable to see their connection with his people, they have no family, no friends, it is this farce that brought them together. In getting along, they found the warmth brought by the family. Although this is not true, everyone is so involved in the drama that in the end, none of them wants to separate again. In any case, you have to find your family, even if they are not related to you, as long as you accept and give equal love, you will be happy. I think this is the theme that this film wants to convey.

"Fake Families" can single out a lot of shortcomings. But after reading it, there is an extraordinarily relaxed feeling. It's like eating a delicious ice cream in the summer, cool and delicious, not greasy. No need to think, no aftertaste, just enjoy the pleasure of the moment, after all. Summer is about to pass, this movie is especially suitable to remember this intoxicating summer.

PS. The egg at the end of the film may have moved many fans of "Friends" to tears.
