The reason I like this film so much is that it takes "people" less importantly. Human beings are not the master of the world, but only a part of the entire ecosystem. The failure of aliens also lies in that it only launched aggression against humans, not against the entire world system. In the end, although it defeated humans, it lost to the ecosystem. This non-centered view of human beings is actually a bit close to Terrence Malick's movie. Feel it...
