I don't understand why the male protagonist didn't call the police and asked the police to come forward to solve the problem. Instead, he shot and wounded an innocent person to attract the police's attention. If it is to not delay the time to rescue the heroine, it is also necessary to call the police to inform the situation. What a horror movie needs is not just to give people a kind of visual fear, but to follow the fate of the protagonist with a sense of anxiety, worry about it, and be horrified. Moreover, such movies also require reasonable ideas and neat logical clues, and cannot be as nonsensical as comedies.
