A true story

After watching the American version of The Amazing Race, I found that a girl with a broken arm took her husband on the show, and her ability to adapt and balance beyond ordinary people made her win the race.

Later, when I found out that there was a movie describing this real thing, I was so excited that I watched the movie intently. I'm afraid to see the clip when the shark cannibalize people. Fortunately, the director only gave it one stroke. More often, he described this little girl who has a more calm and calm quality than her peers.

Some people say that this story is false, but after watching the movie highlights and the interview with TAR, you can find a natural optimism in this girl, and her belief that she is a born Surfer, let her survive. Now, it should even be said that they have lived more successfully than the average person.

I believe that something like this has happened, and some people have actually survived it. Media coverage and rendering are essential, but don't we just need such a role model to cheer us up? Just like the situation after the heroine went to Phuket, Thailand and saw the tsunami, we need this kind of encouragement to stimulate our fighting spirit and potential.

Hope never give up!

Soul Surfer quotes

  • [last lines, narrating]

Bethany Hamilton: I was born to surf. This is why I wake up at the crack of dawn everyday. This is why I endure belly rashes, reef cuts and muscles so tired they feel like needles. And I've learned life is a lot like surfing. When you get caught in the impact zone, you need to get right back up. Because you never know what's over the next wave. And if you have faith, anything is possible, anything at all.

  • Transworld Surf Reporter #1: Bethany, I'm from Transworld Surf Magazine. Are you upset you didn't win today?

Bethany Hamilton: I didn't come to win, I came to surf.

Fuel T.V. reporter #2: Bethany, I just wanted to ask you. If you could go back to that day, and not have gone surfing, would you do it?

Bethany Hamilton: I wouldn't change what happened to me, because then I wouldn't have this chance. In front of all of you... this chance to, embrace more people than I ever could have with two arms.
