Charming City Legend

"Doll Agent" should be regarded as a relatively niche American drama. The theme of Sci-Fi can be summarized in a few words: role-playing, weaving memories, multiple personalities, urban legends...Because it is only watched at the end of the season, so It's more complete and you can see it all at once. It is about an organization called "Doll House" in the shadow of the city. They signed contracts with some handsome men and beautiful women, using them as carriers. All memory, skills, language, movements, muscle reactions and even personality are controlled by the brain. Implanted from the outside. That's why these dolls can play any role and be competent for any job. Those rich people hire these dolls to play some house games.

I feel most emotional about the weaving memory. In reality, many things cannot be fabricated and deceived by themselves. Those people who have achieved some achievements through their lives have found that they have lost a lot of things. Without those early days of dazzling each other, the girl next door who really loves you. So, even if it is deceit, the woven memory will give you a moment of comfort, and after all, everything is so real.

Like many years ago, when I saw Dark City for the first time, the male protagonist still loved the fake wife deeply despite doubts about everything in his memory.

For example, in the Big O, the captain burst into tears when the female celebrity in the captain's arms told him "vous etes si gentille", memories that seemed to have been experienced a long time ago.

I am too obsessed with movies that feel like this.
