Absurd or surreal?

Published in 1928, this film is a masterpiece of a surrealist film that appeared in the French avant-garde film movement. The film has no plot, only a group of irrational shots, and an uncoordinated combination of peculiar and grotesque images: a man embraces the woman he desires, but is caught by a long rope tied to a pumpkin; a blood donkey in a bloody forest Piled on the piano; a well-dressed man kicks pebbles bored along the street... The picture of the film is an imitation of dreams and has a symbolic meaning. This can be analyzed and explained by Freudianism. The pictures of men and women show sexual repression and resistance, and so on. The director used cruel imagery and shocking picture effects and poetic picture comparison. A sharp bayonet cuts open the eyeball and a human head hangs under a huge clock... to convey the painful emotions of despair and anarchism. Revolt. This film is a surrealist epoch-making masterpiece in film history. It does not have any film plot, but it plays a pivotal role in later generations of films. Its absurdity is like a true portrayal to alert every viewer or film. The heart of practitioners. Freud's psychoanalytic theory has a great influence on "An Andalu Dog". Furthermore, it is a complete transformation of psychoanalysis in itself. Unconsciousness, sexual instinct, Oedipus, repression, and transfer can all find a one-to-one correspondence, which gives Freud's theory an aesthetic meaning. "An Andalu Dog" is the work of director Buñuel, and to this day, this movie is still an outstanding masterpiece of surrealism. Every scene in the film looks terrifying, and all the scenes seem to be illogical. Although the people and sceneries in the film are real, the extreme nature of the film is hidden under this plausible appearance. After reading it for the first time, I felt unconscious, but later as my extreme imaginary thoughts gradually increased, I found it very interesting. After the seemingly inappropriate visual rhythm, the psychology is comfortable. It highlights the contrast between the two and shows the difference between aesthetic judgment and actual logic. Perhaps this is the closest thing to the thing itself, perhaps this is the most real life.
