The design of light and shadow is the most stunning

I didn't see Kubrick's shadow, but felt the cold and alienated style of the director's fellow Austrian master Haneke. The two little boys and the escalating violence in the latter half of the episode kept reminding me of that notorious movie. Funny Games. In fact, the plot reversal is not difficult to guess. My mothers in the first half of the show didn't take long to think of what was going on. In fact, like this subject matter, the psychological hints and atmosphere creation are far more shocking than the naked display of violent scenes. This is the gap between the novice director and the master. The blood-spraying scene is a bit close to the routine of a B-level film, and the effect is very similar to the one in Haneke's "Hidden Camera". However, what the director handled best was the design of light and shadow. The scenes hiding behind the curtains abound, and the scene where two little boys sneak out from behind the mother's bed surprised me.
