Is there something wrong with my TASTE? ?
In this film based on the dungeon siege, I saw the producer’s interesting B-level film, not only a B-level film, but also a B-level film with a lot of investment. There is a popular saying that it is very B-grade and very powerful.
Game movies are rarely successful, but this has not reduced the attention of video game enthusiasts like me. I have watched a lot of game movies, most of them are B grade, which is really painful. I don't have any requirements for this, but I feel that even if it is a B-level, at least I have to learn from Quentin.
Before watching this movie, the movie poster made me feel strongly that this movie is B-grade. Maybe it is because of watching the movie for a long time. Basically, I can distinguish good movies from bad movies from the DVD cover and movie posters. True B grade and pseudo B grade. But after seeing Jason Statham, I still put my hot face on it.
The movie is full of shadows of Chinese martial arts movies. From the angle of the character flying in the air to Jason Statham stepping on the shoulders of the monsters to play light work, from the final BOSS jumping off the steps to the two torn and killing, everything seems to be a crouching tiger, hidden dragon. With a little Western-style magic, it becomes more and more spoofing.
Jason Statham was as expressionless as ever, but it was a pity that he was so out of place in a movie like this. Many times I thought he was on the wrong crew.
According to the producer’s thinking, perhaps the game movie should have the spirit of the game, at least fool around or even spoof, create a fake B-level, fight for the real B-level, and finally become the legendary 2B.
According to my personal perception, this is a black humorous B-level film featuring Chinese action guides plus the pseudo-Lord of the Rings, and the signature of a dungeon siege, and it also shouted: "In the Name of the Cult!!!"
