"The Sinner" is a film full of suspense and plots.
Ah Si is a vigorous policeman. During the investigation of the crime, Ah Si shot and killed a 19-year-old drug dealer. Ah Si didn't have a legitimate reason to kill the drug dealers, he just couldn't stand the nonsense of these people. Faced with the upcoming trial, Ah Si was not worried, because his colleague Axi was willing to give false confession for him, claiming that Ah Si killed the person out of legitimate defense.
But before the trial, Ah Si was temporarily relieved of his duties and was assigned to the city police center as an operator. The movie started with one ear.
The first call that Ah Si received was from a drug addict, claiming that someone was going to kill him.
The second call was her cell phone. A female reporter wanted to interview him about Ah Si killing the drug dealer. Ah Si said he was going to your uncle.
The third is a client who was robbed by a prostitute.
The fourth call was a woman named Ibn, and she said hi baby. Ah Si asked her if you need help? Ibn said, don't be afraid of baby. Ah Si asked her, eldest sister, are you too drunk? Ibn said no. Ah Si asked, what on earth do you want? Ibn said he must say it? Ah Si said yes. Ibn said that forget it. Ah Si said if you don't want me to die. Ibn said, Mommy goes out for a ride, okay, baby.
Out of intuition, Ah Si felt that something was strange, so he asked Ibn, are you in a situation? Ibn said it was inconvenient.
After a secret question and answer, Ah Si judged that Ibn had been kidnapped, and he was now in a truck, driving along the highway. Ah Si quickly contacted the dispatch center, and accurately stated the location of the kidnapped person, but there was no license plate number. The dispatch center said, it doesn't matter if there is no license plate number, at least you have to tell me the characteristics of the vehicle. Ah Si said it's okay.
But when I contacted Ibn, Ibn said I was going to hang up baby. Ah Si said, don't worry, what color is your car. Ibn said, white. Then hung up.
Anxious Ah Si contacted the police patrol car again, and told the patrol car's color and road section. The patrol car also accurately intercepted the white truck on the road section, but found that the interception was wrong.
The dispatch center feeds back the results to Ah Si, and tells Ah Si that there are too many cars on the expressway and you have to tell us the license plate number. Ah Si was a little helpless. He found the landline of Ibn’s home through the mobile phone number he had called from Ibn, and then dialed the phone. But what Ah Si did not expect was that the one who answered the phone was a six-year-old girl named Mattie.
Marty told Ah Si on the phone that she and her younger brother are now at home, and her father is called Miguel, and she is divorced from her mother. Ah Si said that you are really a good boy, what's your dad's phone number. Marty said it was 50850204. Ah Si found the license plate number through the phone that Mattie said, and when she was in a good mood, she asked Mattie, what happened to your house?
Marty cried and said, my father and my mother had a fight, and my father took my mother away with a knife.
A Si comforts Mattie, don't be afraid of the child, I will send someone to your house, don't worry. I will find your mother and let her go back to take care of you and your brother.
A four license plate numbers were reported to the dispatch center, and he was ready to leave work. But before he gets off work, he still has one thing in his mind, that is, he hopes that the police can go to Mattie's house as soon as possible. But the district where Ah Si is located cannot control Mattie's, so Ah Si found friends in that district of Matti and asked them to visit Matti's house. My friend said, you have to get off work, this is not your business, just leave it alone. Quickly pack up and get off work, and will appear in court tomorrow.
A Si was a little frustrated, so she said, okay.
A Si, who was about to leave work, decided to call Ibn before leaving get off work, but the phone was turned off. Ah Si contacted the dispatch center again, and the staff at the dispatch center told Ah Si that the car had not been found. After thinking about it, A Si decided to call the kidnapper Miguel. The call got through, but Miguel didn't want to communicate with Ah Si, so he hung up after saying a few words. After another call, Miguel refused.
Ah Si found a friend, asked him to help Miguel's house, and then called Mattie again. After the phone call, Ah Si learned that the police had arrived at Mattie's house and found that Mattie's brother Oliver had been cracked.
Out of anger, Ah Si called Miguel again, but Miguel's unexpectedly answered. Ah Si told Miguel that he already knew about Oliver's death and advised him to stop and stop doing stupid things. Miguel said you know a hammer, and then hung up the phone.
The small universe in Ah Si's heart turned sharply, and his brain kept thinking about this solution. At this time, a phone call came in, telling Ah Si that he fell down while riding a bicycle, and asked Ah Si to call her an ambulance. A Si said to go to your grandma.
Ah Si hung up, when Ibn’s call came in. Ah Si told Ibn not to panic and see if there are any tools in the car. Ibn cried and found a box of bricks. Ah Si said, take a brick and wait for Miguel to stop. As long as he stops, he will hit his head hard. Ibn said, I dare not. Ah Si said, Ibn, don’t be nervous, what do you like most? Ibn said, I usually like to take Mattie and Oliver out for a walk. At this time, my heart will be very calm. I am surrounded by blue water and I like this world.
While they were having a good chat, Ibn told Ah Si that the car had stopped.
Ah Si said, just right, you have to calm down, put the phone in place, prepare the bricks, and wait for him to open the door and give him a head. Is the phone ready?
Ibn cried and told Ah Si that Oliver stopped crying, and it's all right now. I'll help him solve it.
Ibn was stunned, and asked Ibn, what are you talking about?
Ibn said that Oliver was too painful and kept crying because he had a snake in his stomach. I helped him take the snake out. After the snake was taken out, Oliver stopped crying.
Ah Si understood this time, covering his face and asked, Oliver was killed by you?
But before Ibn came to answer, Ah Si heard Miguel opening the car door on the phone...
The scene of the movie is set in a closed room, and the overall tone is dark and solemn, as if a prison cannot escape. This mirrored the protagonist’s heart, he killed a 19-year-old child, even though that child was guilty. At this time, the protagonist firmly believes that he is righteous, and finds a perjury in order to escape crime. But the general public did not think so, but Ah Si felt that as long as he insisted on justice, the opinions of social media were not important.
Therefore, when the addict and the prostitute called in, Ah Si was not enthusiastic, and told the police colleague to go slow and make him suffer a little. But facing the women and children who are about to be violated, the fire of justice in Ah Si's heart is blazing. Even if a person walks into the darkness, he will not hesitate. At this time, the scene of the protagonist walked from the room of everyone to an empty room. This shows that Ah Si is deviating from order.
When Ah Si learned that Oliver was dead, he even closed the shutters of the room to block the light and put himself in the dark. This shows that A Si would rather fall into darkness for his own justice.
When Ah Si learned that Oliver's death was killed by his righteous party, Ah Si was at a loss in the darkness. Finally, Ah Si walked out of the dark room and entered the bright room. And it was Ibn's call that made Ah Si out of the darkness.
On the bright side of the movie, it was Ah Si who was saving Ibn, but it was actually Ibn who was saving Ah Si. The ending of the movie makes people embarrassed. After this incident, Ah Si was baptized and his judgment of good and evil became clearer. So, A Si took the phone and pushed open the door of the room.
