Although "Ramble on Blindness" and "see" are not discussing the same topic, the former is about human destiny and human nature, while the first season of "see" is more about family.
"See" discusses Vision as a luxury item, which is not available to everyone. In the human world a few years later, those in power, as sightless people, fear that the owner of Vision will become a new god and seize their due worship. Ordinary people have doubts about Vision owners, fearing that they will be higher than themselves and make themselves second-class citizens. So in this silent tacit understanding, people with vision become "Witch" in people's eyes. The background of the "see" story unfolded from here, when a pair of brothers and sisters with eyesight were born. Their birth brought a huge crisis to their clan and family, causing the entire clan to be chased by Witchfinder and forced to leave their homeland.
In the first season, Vision represented more knowledge and light. The two brothers and sisters use vision to read books to understand human history and the glorious civilization of the past, which makes us full of expectations for the future development and role of the brothers and sisters. The first season is actually just a paving of the world view. The grand structure of the second season has not been fully demonstrated, but there is no doubt that the first season has already started a power contest. What Paris said in the first season is very reasonable. Most people always want to eliminate a few people, not because they are Special, but because they are different.
The most vivid expression of family values, and the setting and presentation of the story background are the important tasks of the first season. Of course, there are also some points of loss.
