Cold in the fire~ Lakeview Terrace could have been better

To be honest, I almost walked out of the cinema a few times in the process (because of the story) ~ This is where the movie was successful (or I was immature)
but I have started to taste the other side of it all the way home, such as the director’s naivety, the movie The element, the natural and living element in the script, has been so plainly carried, and the
events are plainly suppressed in their respective corners. What should I say-loose and plain narrative language? It simply reached a complete level of presentation... I feel that the play itself should be far beyond the
homework done by the director.

The strength of the characters. Speaking of actors, the protagonist has gradually developed the "ordinary person" image from the beginning. It is enough to understand the strength of the script on this character, but the portrayal between the characters lacks a sense of "unity", I don't know. Is this caused by more than one screenwriter? Obviously, the characterization of Abel is not so natural from the inside out. This is why, these two main characters always seem to be a little bit "unrealistic", right? Otherwise, perhaps the contradiction between the two in the story could be better portrayed. I personally think that the role of Chris is a bit better, but on this issue, I completely find that the director has insufficient control over time. Except for the main characters, the other characters look like crappy props, which greatly reduces the taste of the film. "(I think this is the biggest feature in American movies. They don't seem to pay much attention to the "taste" thing, or they pay more attention to the practicality of "humor", but when the sense of humor cannot be used, they lack strength. I don't know how to repay).
