As her debut work, the director did a pretty good job, and the female lead she found was also the first big screen. It’s amazing, because the role is very difficult. Whether it’s an action show or an inner scene, it’s close to Naomi Watts’s "Mu He The performance of Landau. Secondly, the director uses the present/past two-wire structure to weave an extremely dark, heartbreaking and disturbing story. The scenes of memories/dreams are interspersed seamlessly without making the audience inexplicable. Finally, the director's description of the "bad guys" in this kind of story is not excessively dramatic, and basically upholds an objective and calm onlooker. This is quite difficult, because this subject matter can easily make viewers have tendentious emotions or attitudes.
For the fledgling director, there is still much room for improvement. Every time there is a farm scene, there will always be a horrible soundtrack appropriately. This kind of prompt is enough even once! But for some reason, the terrifying voices continued. Is the director worried that the audience will not understand it? There is also the most serious question: how did the heroine enter the farm in the first place, and there is very little explanation. Maybe this is not what the director wants to reflect, but in my opinion, the motivation is the most important, and the ambiguity of the cause has discounted the viewing effect.
Of course, the best thing is the open ending that makes people think about it. No matter what the explanation is, it seems reasonable, but it casts an indelible shadow on the heroine's fate. This may be the subject of the film.
