The film tells the life of the retired actor Aiden. He runs a small hotel in central Anatolia and lives with his young wife Nihal, but their feelings are gone. His sister was immersed in the pain of divorce soon. With the advent of winter, the snow covered the land, the hotel became their refuge, and at the same time became a stage, on which all kinds of joys and sorrows were performed.
This is a beautiful and dynamic debate game. After all, the movie still has to use the story and the camera to speak
"We are so exhausted, we make the illusion that there is something to do, we have great and wonderful ideas every morning, but we have nothing to do all day." This is one of my favorite lines in this movie. If you experience it carefully, you can see yourself.
The scenes of "Hibernation" are relatively few, and even seem concentrated and monotonous: either the exterior scenes are almost desolate, or the interior scenes are almost closed but exquisite. The second half of the film gradually unfolded, and the lens finally found some grander scenes. The snowy ground gave a chance to breathe.
"Hibernation" may seem tedious and tedious, but in fact it is meaningful. It is not an idly flowing stream, but an old well with a clear spring and a sweet and pleasant secret.
