The extremely simple setting, the extreme black and red, revealing the atmosphere of darkness and depression, thus starting an ultimate debate on morality.
From the overall point of view, until about 80 minutes, what has been described is about the bottom line of morality. As for the later evolution of adulthood, it is not an exaggeration to return to the basics in my eyes. Human nature is inherently unreasonable. This is God. The gifted nature was only constrained because the progress of civilization was put in a box.
People are selfish in the first place, so they launched the ultimate competition between the humanity (that is, morality) and primitive humanity that the rules set. In the end, it was the latter who won and didn’t want to discuss too many details. Anyway, it was a very wonderful movie. In many scenes, various metaphors have hidden flavors that they want to express, and they are worthy of contemplation.
To talk about a few things that I think are not good enough. The director did not do a good job in establishing the rules of the survival circle, and was not tough enough. The rules were set up abruptly by the death of a few people in the opening scene, which made me feel very reluctant. So I walked a lot of questions:
Can the two circles jump over without touching the ground?
When people have quarrels and emotions are out of control, I think actors behave too calmly, unlike experiencing death.
There are good people and bad people, right? Anyway, I'm going to die and pull one into the water. It's not too much. Will it happen that a person rushes to the neighboring circle with all his strength and knocks him out? Well, what I said is too exaggerated. At least there should be behaviors of smashing others with shoes or clothes. Anyway, I feel that the actors are restrained by the director and can’t express their emotions, so I can’t even enter the movie. inside.
Finally, it said that the ending of the wave is very awesome. The director is still very powerful. The big reversal surprises the audience the most. Give it an 8 point. It is a good movie worth thinking about human nature~
