A typical inspirational movie of that era. Flash dance has become a proof in the history of dance evolution. The dance of the street dancers inside began to take shape of breaking, and many dance steps were very exciting. As a person 20 years later, when I watch this movie, many plots will appear old-fashioned. However, just appreciating the gorgeous dance will bring great gains.
Jennifer Beals is incredibly youthful in it, completely different from the temperament that Bette is now showing. From Flashdance to the L word, 26 years, the changes to this woman are clearly visible. I can’t help but think of what it would be like if it were us, looking at today 20 years later.
