As a student in the food industry, I am deeply ashamed

I was originally concerned about the 82nd Oscars, and surprisingly, I saw this documentary.
To be honest, when I first started, I was very surprised.
Although I know that the United States is originally a bold country, and there are no shortage of people who dare to speak out.
But after I watched this documentary, I still have to admire all the people who participated in the production.
This is a huge adventure.
Now it succeeded.

If you put this in our country, hehe, I dare to make a one-two guarantee,
absolutely, absolutely. No one dared to shoot.
Moreover, it is impossible to succeed.
And what I want to say most is,
you know, the status quo in China is hundreds of times worse than that in the United States! !
However, we know nothing.
And don't even want to understand!
Our citizens seem to care less about their bodies than those fat Americans.
We have many other things to worry about, don't we?
House, if not, where do we live?
The car, the face. . . .
Health, we put it at the very end.

This is our sadness, and it belongs to everyone.
I have met people who focus on health preservation, and many of my teachers are dedicated to these food safety aspects.
However, the riddled with laws and regulations and the lack of repairs
have made our ever-changing daily diet even more earth-shaking.
Only personal effort is far from enough.

But the country fell on deaf ears.

I saw the courage of Americans to face errors and power.
In fact, if society has no disputes and contradictions, how can it progress?
We are in harmony and harmony, harmony to the end, maybe still going backwards.
We don't even have the courage to face mistakes.
After many years, what will we use to educate our children?
What else can we take to feed our children? Ah? !

As a junior in food science,
watching this film makes me extremely chilling.

But I still want to recommend it to everyone, hoping someone can learn something from it.

I had to use the pedanticness of ancient literati to comfort myself,
"Darkness will help the world, and the poor will be alone."

  • Title card: SB-63 passed the State Legislature. But Governor Schwarzenegger then vetoed it.

Eric Schlosser: These companies fight, tooth and nail, against labeling. The fast food industry fought against giving you the calorie information. They fought against telling you if there is trans-fat in your food. The meat packing idustry for years prevented country-of-origin labeling. They fought not to label genetically modified foods; and now 70% of processed food in the supermarket has some genetically modified ingredient.

  • Eric Schlosser: These companies have legions of attorneys. And they may sue, even if they know they can't win, just to send a message.
