"Friends Reunion": A warm review

According to #老友记重聚program# , Cass and the director said that they did not plan to continue shooting sequels or movies because the characters each had their best endings. If they want to overturn or change this ending, it is not necessary. They think that most of the characters are getting married and having children as the best ending, and Joey may have opened a sandwich shop in Venice Beach after moving to Los Angeles, which is also a happy ending for him. I think it is wise to do so.

This show is basically a documentary, with live interviews, greetings and memorials recorded by guests, plus a review of past episodes.

The most touching moment was when the first six people walked into the studio one by one and saw the rebuilt shooting scene, the details were restored very well. When filming the last episode of the tenth season was finished, the scene set was torn down the next day because there was still a new movie to be filmed. This reunion is too difficult to regain, and it should be reserved as a visit item and open to tourists. In addition, after the finale filming was finished, everyone hugged and cried in the corridor, which was very touching.

The miraculous part is that all the main actors and even some old actors, such as Ross’s parents, are still alive and healthy, and some are in good spirits.

The live costume show was also one of the highlights, especially Joey actor Matt LeBlanc put on all of Chandler's clothes on the show.

The biggest surprise is naturally that they revealed that Ross and Rachel's actor David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston had also been ambiguous in private, but only in the first season, because the two have always had a partner, and they didn't tell anyone else. And in the previous interview, they said that they were actually a little worried that having a relationship in private would affect the filming, so everyone tacitly kept a distance.

Another thing I didn't know before was that the director said that it was the episode of Monica and Chandler's one-night stand in London. The audience's response was so great that they kept screaming and applauding before they decided to let them be together. The original plan was only a short romance, but the audience’s enthusiastic response made them decide to rewrite the script.

The non-show guests who were invited to the show only talked about why they liked the show, the impact on them, which role or series they liked the most, and did not overwhelm the audience.

What's more regrettable is that many of the big stars who had guest appearances did not appear on the scene to give blessings, only Reese witherspoon appeared. Such as Brad Pitt, Paul Rudd, Julia Roberts, etc. did not personally appear on the scene, just review their previous shots.

What I am most impressed by is that, except for the actor of Chandler, the other people are really no different from the characters. The way of speaking and actions seem to be out of the play. Only Matthew Perry became a little silent, regrettably, without the energy and sense of humor of Chandler. It may be that his journey has been the most tortuous in recent years.

Generally speaking, it is still full of good memories, and I will definitely want to relive the episode after watching it!
