The resonance that young people should have

I stumbled upon a post about 20 must-see movies for Harvard college students. Unfortunately, I haven't watched any of them. No wonder I couldn't get into Harvard. Therefore, I just downloaded one and watched it for myself.

I just downloaded "Boiler Room" casually.

I have the mentality of watching inspirational videos for successful people. I entered a company from a yellow-haired kid and didn't understand anything. I climbed up step by step until I reached the stage of successful people. How inspirational and close to our lives. Every wage earner at the bottom, the younger generation, hopes to watch this kind of movies when they are sad, so that they can turn themselves over.

I was wrong.

What a familiar scene, a group of young people who have just entered society came to a company’s office and listened to a crowd who thought they were successful. They said how good they are and how rich they are. Efforts, you will get it, and the company will definitely give it to you." The young man looked up and worshiped and asked questions. When will I reach this height? So we became humble, started doing trivial things, bowed before humility, and listened to all kinds of truth-like experiences...

Looking up at the predecessors, it seems that there is an insurmountable wall. They have a lot of money. With a house and a car, we will have to work hard for the necessities of life in our days. Soon, "money" has become the only thing in life.

Seeing this, I feel uneasy. I feel awkward for the series of ways of doing things in the movie. I can't do some of it, so I will never want to succeed.

The inspirational component stopped abruptly and turned to the essence of the movie.

The actor has gone through a series of training, and he has cultivated excellent eloquence. In addition to stock brokers, there are many more in this telemarketing business. We are less and less believing in everything around us because we are suspicious. Or the world has really changed. In order to live, everyone spends their lives in flicker. The hero fools the doctor and the food factory owner. But the doctors, food factory owners and others, are their lives and work full of deception? Whenever I see that superb working skills are actually equivalent to superb deceitful ingenuity, I feel awkward and work enthusiastically. What is it for?

The protagonist finally found his conscience, which also created a positive concept for the movie.

However, real life has to go on. If you start work tomorrow and talk to your boss or seniors about your conscience, you will be labelled as not yet deep in the world. If you are serious, you may be scolded. The conscience is here. Who can show nobility to a society where money is supreme?

Movies are always a place to make dreams. In the real world, who cares about the little clerk whose conscience finds out?

Everyone should have some dreams that have nothing to do with money! But these ideals that have nothing to do with money are often defined as not doing business properly.

But no one knows what is "right cause".

However, life and work have to continue...
