I still remember the line from my favorite 2001 movie "Moulin Rouge" when I was a kid: "The best thing you can learn in the world is to love someone, and that person loves you." In my heart, the most beautiful love is The kind that is purer than the best quality diamond is not based on any other additional conditions. Even if he/she is poor or sick, as long as you love this person deeply, you will be willing to accompany him/her through the ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties in life.
When love is added with various additional conditions of reality, it becomes no longer pure, no longer the most beautiful thing in such a desirable world.
The human girl Portia in "Carnival Murder" seems to love Philo very much, but her love is based on the condition that the other person is also human. Upon learning that her lover Philo is a half-human and half-elf hybrid, Portia disregarded their feelings and told the police the secret, which directly led to Philo's arrest. *I decided to watch this show because of the handsome Orlando Bloom. I was not disappointed when I saw the end of the first season. The fairy wings that glow when combined in the moonlight are so beautiful and dreamy! It is very interesting to feel that the screenwriter is trying to show the conflict between races through this story. During the years of living in the United States, I can indeed feel some contradictions between races. Many contradictions originate from history. I don't know if there will be a way to integrate all races into one in the future.
