Josephine Chesterfield (Hathaway) and Penny Rust (Wilson) are both female scammers who swindled money out of men, but their scams are completely different. Josephine likes to dress well and confuse men with her charming appearance. Together with her men, she specializes in defrauding wealthy people from all over the world or expensive jewelry in casinos. Penny's route is more civilian. She mainly pretends to be poor and cheats cash from men she knows on the Internet in ordinary bars. In a train encounter, these two female liars met. Penny wanted Josephine to teach her how to scam a man's money. In order to get rid of the fat woman who robbed her of business more quickly, Josephine began to teach Penny how to quickly become a professional scam girl. Later, they worked together. Josephine played the role of the rich princess who had just gone bankrupt, and attracted rich old men to propose to her, from which she could defraud a huge diamond ring. PENNY cooperated with her and played her neurotic sister. The two cooperated with each other in front of the old man, scared these people away, and then took the diamonds as their own. Of course, Josephine didn't really want to help PENNY, she later drove Penny away. Josephine thought he had solved the fat woman. Unexpectedly, Penny reappeared during a scam, so the situation of Penny and Josephine grabbing territory appeared.

One mountain cannot accommodate two tigers. They saw an APP developer from the United States, a high-tech billionaire Thomas (Alex Sharp). So they decided that whoever lied to this boy who looked like a little boy first was the winner. Penny once again used the method of earning mercy to play a blind girl to get Thomas' mercy and then defraud the so-called "medical expenses". And Josephine wanted to seduce Thomas in a feminine way. They competed and played tricks with each other, and there were a lot of jokes. Unexpectedly, the final outcome was that two experienced female liars were defrauded of a million by the so-called billionaire Thomas. Who is the real master fraud?

I believe that many people are watching this movie for the two actresses. Of course, the acting skills of the two heroines are not to be faulty, especially Hathaway played the Englishman in the film, and also played the German in the process of cheating. As an American, she can't be faulty with her fluent German accent in British English, and it sounds particularly interesting. I believe she must have worked hard.

The film was set in the Mediterranean in France, and the places where the protagonist enters and exits are all high-end casino mansions, which makes people have a certain visual enjoyment.

Although the movie is a comedy, there are indeed many places to make people laugh, but it is not natural for people to laugh, as if to make some jokes to make the audience laugh.

Of course, this is also an attempt of a feminist film. After all, as a female version of the remake of the 1988 comedy film dirty rotten scoundrels, the director still needs to be affirmed for experimentation and courage.
