He's afraid of commitment. He lost his friends and women he cares for. His heart is empty and he says he lacks the peace of mind. I know he has regrets but he just can't mend his ways. He is a charming creature but he is poor and desperate. He doesn't know where he is going. He already realizes without the peace of mind, everything he has is just nothing. This is Alfie, Jude Law's Alfie. I don't know how the Mike Cane Alfie is like. I only know Jude Law is killing me softly with his smile...And the paces of the whole movie are very smooth and consistent. Many people didn't give it a high evaluation but I do like it.
