Fly over yourself

I recently watched an old film, "Beyond the Peak" starring Stallone. Looking at the title and starring, I thought it was an action movie, but it was a very good and warm film. At that time, Stallone was still very young and handsome, playing a single father with a poor financial situation. Because he fell in love with a woman from a superior family, and was strongly opposed by the woman's father, Stallone voluntarily gave up the marriage and left alone, but he did not expect that they had a child. Years later, the child had a chance to be alone with the father, and the relationship between the father and son gradually ran into each other, and finally the affection made the father and son impossible to separate.

At the end of the story, many moving scenes in the film flashed back in my mind. Not only was it moved by the father and son's final regaining of the flesh and blood relationship, but also because of the truth in life revealed by the exchanges between the father and son in the story.

"There is no such thing as a pie in the sky. If you want, you can fight for it yourself." This sentence was said by the father to his son, and it appeared several times in different situations. In fact, this sentence was not only used by the father to educate his son, but also reflected himself. Because he did not continue to insist on being with his lover, he easily gave up the opportunity to fight for his own happiness, which led to the misfortune that he, his lover and his son could not enjoy a happy family life. He realized his mistake and regretted it, so he wanted to tell his son not to repeat the same mistakes. Although he was upset that he hadn't tried hard before, he didn't realize that he was going to correct himself. He just kept using this to learn from to demand his son. He was fighting for his son's custody and almost chose to give up again, and finally took part in the wrist-wrestling competition. At that time, he almost gave up again. Although he won the victory in the end, if it were not for his son's several encouragements, I am afraid he would still give up.

Through this episode of "striving", there are a few conclusions:
1. When we educate or admonish others, it is often because we have fallen here, and we hope that others will not fall again because of this. But we must also realize that we have fallen here, but don’t fall again because of this. We realize the reason for the failure, we don’t let it pass, we have to correct it, and it’s still too late to correct it successfully.

2. We may need to fight this problem for a long time and often. Today we win, but we may fall again next time. We must continue to fight our stubborn illnesses in order to be truly successful.

3. Any success requires a lot of hard work. Don’t expect that hard work will be rewarded. It takes a lot of hard work, even youth, sweat, and tears. We all understand these principles, but we may not be able to endure them when we do it. Therefore, we must remember that we "striving" for success are "striving" with ourselves. In many cases, we are not losing to others, but to ourselves. , I allowed the failure.
