In the sound of stakes

As an authentic Foshan native, I have read many film reviews of Douyou, but still feel uncomfortable.
When I watched Ye Wenyi, I was still in the third year of junior high. I still remember the unspeakable mood when I watched it in the movie theater. I feel too touched to say it. The old streets of Foshan in the movie have been almost completely demolished in elementary school. The dark and elegant tones in the movie are just like the taste of the South. After eight years, Ye Wensan is already in Toronto on the other side of the ocean. Suddenly, the soundtrack of Ye Wen's movie sounded in the earphones, and somehow came up in his mind that the neighbor's uncle was practicing Wing Chun in his yard (yes, there are wooden stakes in his yard). Suddenly I wanted to write a film review.
From Ye Wen 1 to Ye Wensan, my favorite scene in each film was that Ye Wen was practicing piles at home, and there was no one around him, as if he was the only one facing the wooden pile. There was no fierce fight with other people, and there was no lively crowd and cheers. Wing Chun and Ye Wen were even a little dull. But in my eyes, it is so touching. The sliding doors in the south, the flowers, trees and scallion cages, seem to have been soaked in rain for a long time, and the walls are all green. In the quiet house, the sound of the collision between the hands and the wooden stakes sounded, and it made people's heartstrings vibrate. This is the truest aspect of a martial arts master, most of the time is spent in meditation practice, without the need for stars to go over the moon, and no need for applause. There is only one man with his beloved things, long days and long nights, day and night. Has become a part of life.
Ye Wen is humble. When someone challenged him, he asked him how you played. He said, "You know everything." He never regarded himself as a master, but wherever he went, the neighbors and other martial arts masters respected and loved him.
In reality, Ye Wen and his wife Zhang Yongcheng separated after the former went to Hong Kong, but the movie gave the couple a happy ending. Ye Man's skill has never been shown in front of provocateurs. At home, he will always take care of his thoughts silently, unwilling to influence his wife. In the movie, Xiong Dailin gave Ye Wen a slap. Ye Wen silently received the slap, but he knew his wife’s inner suffering, so he didn’t quarrel with his wife or even make hands when he felt ashamed of his wife, like ordinary men. Hand holding her. No doubt every woman hopes to marry such a man. The play in the elevator room can be said to be tenderness and thrills. Ye Wen protects his wife behind him. He is not as tall as her, but like a mountain. No one should have the opportunity to hurt the one he loves. After repelling the Thai master, Ye Man returned to the elevator, picked up the medicine packet that fell on the ground, and walked out slowly with his wife, as if nothing happened just now, there was no fighting, and he didn't know that if he lost the opponent, he would be treated against him. In the end of the murderous man, he took his wife to the clinic, saw an illness, and retrieved some medicine.
Ye Man's deepest impression is that the clouds are light and windy.
Zhang Jin challenged Ye Wen from the War Book, but in Ye Wen's mind, everything was second, and only being with his wife was important. So there is the moving scene of Donnie Yen and Xiong Dailin in the ballroom. All around were apprentices and reporters who were clamoring to cover up their embarrassment. Only Zhang Jin who was sitting in it knew that his face was discouraged, and the other party didn't care about the battle book he had written.
The real Ye Wen, his life may not be as wonderful as in the movie, or it may be more wonderful. But I think, no matter which one it is, Ye Wen won't care about it. He would not think that his story would be put on the screen, but for a low-key and introverted person like him, he would not care about these things. He became a master because he was calm and focused. A person who becomes a legend never feels that he is a legend.
You are not in the arena, there are still your legends in the arena.
