I think few people would have thought that someone would write reviews on this movie after so many years, but...

I was very young when I first watched "Little Squirrel". At that time, I watched it on Central Station 6, or the Mandarin version of TV, and the picture quality and sound quality were not very good. But the image of that cute little CGI mouse was always imprinted in my mind at that time. The plot of the movie is relatively ordinary, basically the animal version of a general family romantic adventure story. However...

I had some questions about the characters in this movie at the time, but I was too young to give these questions to the organization as a sentence-by-sent question. And maybe because of those vague questions, I liked this movie so much-I generally admire TV movies because they don’t have so many complicated special effects, they don’t have the deep plot like the Avengers, and they don’t resemble Resident Evil. The virus invasion or the political conspiracy of big companies here, there is no political content that has nowhere to escape, and there is no content that triggers military controversy in Zootopia... They are all ordinary towns, ordinary people. , Ordinary things, with a bit of romantic love. Close to the ground, caring and comfortable. But the movies that really make me feel good are not just that the plot is absolutely beautiful and comfortable, but also that they can enliven the thinking, strongly stimulate the imagination, ask questions on the vertical level and try to answer them.

Then a few years passed, and "Elven Mouse 2" came. Stewart is much more mature, and it's the time when his teenage love begins. I especially like the story of the sequel, and also regret the inevitable and irresistible ending. And when I watched the sequel for the first time, I had as many or even more questions. But for the same reason, I failed to list the problems one by one.

Well, today, these issues are finally listed.

One of the biggest features of my movie watching is that I can find very small "cracks" (or brain-opening) under the story level, and open up a new day under the cracks and make a fuss, and then fill the cracks. I personally think that this new world can be combined with all the real or fictional worlds described in domestic and foreign film and television works. Just as the Chinese Ontology is a centralized power with a stable and constant core, this unknown behind the scenes is also a constant core that pulls together all seemingly unrelated parallel worlds. The Alien can be combined with the Galaxy Fleet, Resident Evil can be combined with The Matrix, the Avengers can be combined with the Vampire Diaries, and so on.

As for this work, I found a lot of "cracks". On the whole; after the two movies, my imagination has opened up again, a whole new universe and a new galaxy were born, and the past history of the little wizard mouse has also turned into a particularly exciting and strong science fiction in my mind.

When recalling the first work, I suddenly realized that the first act for Stewart was that he was in the orphanage somehow, sitting and reading between the Littles, and it was over. The dean's aunt's explanation of his life experience only said that his "parents" were crushed to death by canned food. These points made me a yellow warning light on the wizard rat Stewart: This little guy is definitely not as simple as it seems.

So a lot of questions came. Maybe the author of the original book should explain these things -

> Who is the little wizard mouse, Stuart Little?

> What is his past like? Who was he? Where did he come from, and when did he come from?

> Why can he speak a language that humans and various animals understand? Could it be that he had a previous life and was once a humanoid creature, but later turned into some kind of accident, or reincarnated temporarily as a small creature after a major event (personally prefers the latter)? If so, what happened, and who are Stewart's real biological parents? If his soul is temporarily reborn in the mouse's body to give the mouse the ability to communicate with humans, what kind of life experience is he like?

> In the first episode, the wizard mouse showed a strong sailing ability. In the second episode, the piloting skills of the aircraft are somewhat comparable to those of a formal elite fighter pilot... Will these abilities be transferred from his previous life? of?

> The same goes for the little canary Magalo in the second part, who can speak a language that humans can understand-and only these two can be said! It's not like a coincidence. what reason? Could it be that Margello also had a previous life, and the last experience was the same or similar to Stewart?

> Stuart and Margello seem to have established a very stable and fast relationship-a bit like they had a romantic history. If you consider the above questions, will the two of them be the love affair of the previous life resurrecting in the present life, and will the two of them be the lovers or unmarried couples of the previous life? Will the two have a personal history in a previous life? If so, what kind of story would it be?

> The ending of "Elf Mouse 2" is a bit regrettable, but it is also the inevitable relationship between animals and nature, otherwise Margello would freeze to death in the north. But it feels that the story of the two should not end here-what will happen next?

I feel that the story of Little Elf Mouse is quite exciting, and the family-centric story is also very warm and caring. But it feels like the story written by the writer EB White is only the middle chapter-if you count from 1 to 100, the two movies will be between 75 and 80 on the scale of the whole story. This story obviously has a very rich prologue. The inside story and the follow-up can continue to be created (like I said, I am just a movie viewer, but these two movies have opened up a whole new world in my mind: the universe, the timeline , Interstellar and Galaxy, etc.). It’s a pity that the box office of the two movies is not very good. The movie’s creator digs the "mine" and hits a few hard "rocks" and then gives up. In fact, behind the hard rocks are countless priceless treasures, and these The rock may be broken after another hit.

I personally think that this kind of movie should continue to be explored, and Disney’s real-life relaunching of money may be saved (some of them are actually not so new). Based on these questions, it may be possible to resurrect the story of Barry and expand it to...Infinite, so that this story can be expanded to not only the ordinary stories of ordinary people in New York, but also to become a super-giant feast of more levels.

I have already started painting on the above issues (yes-painting). I hope those filmmakers can also see these deep stories that are worth discovering. Since Star Wars can keep milking the plot between the main story and the prequel, isn’t this good? ?

Stuart Little 2 quotes

  • Stuart Little: How can you think of eating at a time like this?

Snowbell: Look, I'm nervous. And when I'm nervous I eat. 'Cuz I know, in my growling gut, that if anything happens to you, I'll be blamed. I'm sure the Littles already know we're gone and are planning to replace me with a hampster.

  • Stuart Little: [as a newspaper falls on him] Oof, hey look! The Yankees won!
