HAPPY END

Although the grandfather who died suddenly told his 17-year-old grandson that there is no future here.
But this is still a farce that gives people hope for life.

Different from UNDERGROUND’s profound themes, Ku Dao reveals more absurdity in this film, blurring the place’s life like a spinning amusement carousel. Middle-aged people are always having fun and trying to cheat money. We try every means to find love, and the elderly think of ways to live and see happiness in their children and grandchildren during their lifetimes.

Shotguns, pistols, and grenades have become a joy in life, a wedding game. The dwarf bride. Frozen corpse. A fat singer who pulls nails out of his butt. A telephone line that requires watering to make a call. It's not a very CULT, but it's a red truck with oxygen. The endless scenes are staggering, but they can also make people laugh.

In any case, such a seemingly lawless life still has reasons to make people desperate, but it seems that the madness of the race itself will make this all show a certain utopian flavor. Here, destiny and happiness (music) are more powerful than laws.
One cannot blame life. Not being able to enjoy is just your own fault.
