Very american

A movie with quite American characteristics, first relax, then encounter troubles, everyone breaks through their own weaknesses, and finally everything is reunited.
Wang Xiaobo once said that a fast food meal in American Films is what it looks like when it is eaten. It is too wasteful to throw it away. Add a little bit of seasoning and eat it, then come out again, and so on, wait until it is pulled out like a pile of shit. When I felt that I could no longer use it, I threw it away.
The words are a bit disgusting, but the irony is very good. You can see traces of another movie in each movie (except for some particularly great movies, of course). This is not to say that I don't like it. Everyone needs a relaxed art to relieve the anxiety of daily life. These movies just meet this requirement. What's wrong with everyone in a relaxed way?
It's just that this movie is very American, without any emotion.
Of course, these kinds of movies all need a small, slightly philosophical theme. I think this movie should all express an unknown joy rather than fear.
Everyone will have a lot of unknowns, ranging from the weather tomorrow, to the whole life, or the survival of the race, but it is not because of the unknown to escape, but with a feeling of acceptance.
It's enough to see a little bit from such a movie, after all, you are still relaxed, isn't it?

Planet 51 quotes

  • Lem: Lem. Lem.

Captain Charles T. Baker: Either your name is Lem, or you want to mate with me. Houston, we have a little problem.

  • Lem: What do you want?

Captain Charles T. Baker: Thanks for asking. Coffee, light, two sugars. Do you have any Frappucino up here? Any puff pastry, too. Thanks.

Lem: No, I mean are you here to take over our world and, like, eat our brains?

Captain Charles T. Baker: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. What kind of sick planet is this? First of all, it's supposed to be uninhabited, okay? Nut full of sea monkeys dancing to the oldies. My mission was to plant Old Glory, whack a few golf balls and head back to the Kids Choice Awards. I'm getting slimed.
