Why is it called Planet 51?

There is no research, but I guess it may be related to some rumors. Legend has it that Area 51 in Nevada, USA is a military base where the U.S. military conducts secret tests, including some rumors of contact with UFOs and alien life. The ninth area in the film may be named after the movie "Zone Nine" and the nine planets in the solar system.
As an entertainment-oriented cartoon, some logical irrationality can be completely ignored. For example, the same voice, similar appearance, similar living habits, etc., are also to make it easier for the audience to accept. It also saves time on key plots.
The animated expressions and language are very humorous. As a pure entertainment movie, it should be pretty good.
As for the theme of the exploration of the unknown, different people have different opinions. Why always imagine the arrival of aliens as aggression rather than communication, hostility rather than friendliness, the source is the evil mirror image of mankind towards itself.
The unknown can make people scared and yearn for.
The key depends on how you face it.

Planet 51 quotes

  • Lem: Lem. Lem.

Captain Charles T. Baker: Either your name is Lem, or you want to mate with me. Houston, we have a little problem.

  • Lem: What do you want?

Captain Charles T. Baker: Thanks for asking. Coffee, light, two sugars. Do you have any Frappucino up here? Any puff pastry, too. Thanks.

Lem: No, I mean are you here to take over our world and, like, eat our brains?

Captain Charles T. Baker: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. What kind of sick planet is this? First of all, it's supposed to be uninhabited, okay? Nut full of sea monkeys dancing to the oldies. My mission was to plant Old Glory, whack a few golf balls and head back to the Kids Choice Awards. I'm getting slimed.
