Failure case analysis 1: Lively and classic are just one step away

I have long heard that the box office of this film is terrible, and the return of the investment of 130 million yuan is only a fraction, so I have been mentally prepared before watching it, but the film is not as bad as expected. At least I watched it once and I didn't regret wasting time, but compared to "TOP GUN", which can be watched five times, it is the difference between lively and classic.
The first is the emotional line of the hero and heroine, which can be completely cut off. It's neither touching nor necessary, so why do you mix it in? He also made Jamie Fox’s male number two like an electric light bulb, with no room to play, so he hurriedly ended. Basically, the part of the male and female protagonist who talks about love and vacation in Thailand can all be cut off.
Secondly, believing in computer stunts is not as good as no computer stunts. CG is used too much in the film, and air combat is almost entirely CG. To shoot real objects, you have to shoot absolutely unexpected angles and perspectives, and to shoot CG you have to shoot like a documentary, so as to bring a real feeling. In this regard, "World War" is really the standard textbook. Everyone has seen a lot of stunts these days, and it's hard to surprise them.
Then there is the story processing ability. In the movie, there is the growth and destruction of robot fighters, love, friendship, political conspiracy, and cold war. As a result, love is not touching, the conspiracy is not clear, the conspiracy is not clear (who are the people at the Alaska airport? I can guess it, but it is the responsibility of the director and the screenwriter to confess the plot), and there is not even a villain throughout. The structure of this story would be much better if it were divided into three episodes. For an episode like now, there is only one way, which is to honestly use the robot as the protagonist and cut everything else down.
In short, if you want to watch this movie, you can watch it, and don't compete if you don't. There is always a reason for box office failure, and the audience is not stupid.
