I don’t know if you like "Friday the 13th", this long horror series. Since it was born in 1980, it has been filmed 13 times. Its size is comparable to the "Halloween" series.
Long and long, but the rating of the "Friday the 13th" series should be lower among these horror big IPs, because it is too simple! The first part is still a little suspenseful, the murderer has been hiding behind to kill until the end Appearing, it turned out to be Jason's mother. In the final PK with "Screaming Queen", her mother was chopped off.
But there is no suspense in the subsequent sequel, Jason has become a murderous machine without any emotions and saying nothing. He guarded the Crystal Lake and slaughtered a group of handsome boys and girls who came to camp by the lake. Because they were too naughty, they couldn't help having premarital sex. Jason died because of this, so he always forced him to be big. Killing.
This set of movies was made by the DVD set that I bought back then. I watched it as a TV series, and the more I watched it, the more boring it became. At the end of each movie, Jason is always cut to pieces, but in the next episode he will come back straight away, so I always feel that "Friday the 13th" should be regarded as a zombie movie.
The last part of the DVD set is the eighth episode. Jason got on the boat and came to Manhattan. It can be seen that the choreographers are already poor. There is a cameo by Kelly Hu in this movie, but she didn't resist at all when she was killed.
Starting from the ninth episode, Jason was sold to the new line film company, and began to take an unusual path. The budget for the ninth episode was significantly higher, and a lot of special effects and magical colors were added. Jason became a parasite. The coroner who ate his heart turned into him, and the coroner was replaced by another when his body was dysfunctional. In this episode, there are four generations of Jason taking turns playing!
In the tenth episode, it’s even more serious. Jason went directly to space! The template of "Alien" is not copied for nothing, just apply it directly. I saw a group of fools dealing with Jason in the spaceship, killing them happily.
In fact, I like this one very much. At least it introduces new ideas and adds new interest to the audience, especially the female robot in the film. She is very cute and has the ability to compete with Jason at critical moments. The scene where she blocked Jason can be said to be the most surprising scene in the whole series.
In addition, the scene where Jason dipped the beauty's head into liquid nitrogen and then smashed it to pieces is also the most terrifying and bizarre death scene in the entire series. But this is not original. As early as 1993, the 23rd episode of the first season of "X-Files" had similar scenes.
Jason later turned into a cyborg biohazard, even "Alien 2". The last space capsule hole scene, copied "Alien 4" again. Of course, you can also call it a tribute, or a spoof. This movie is no longer a pure horror film, it also has comedy and science fiction elements. The director of this film, James Isaac, has collaborated with the great director David Cornenberg in "Game of the Senses", so you can see the great director's special cameo in this film.
Maybe the copy is too obvious and the food is too ugly. Film critic Roger Ebert put it in the list of "most hated movies". But this box office is not bad, second only to the first one.
The next step for the new line company is even more wicked. There is a "Ghost King War" directly, and Freddy in Elm Street will directly deal with Jason in Crystal Lake. I also really like this one. Its director is Yu Rentai, a famous Hong Kong director.
It is a pity that after this film, the film company planned to restart the series (Halloween and Ghost Street also restarted one after another), which finally led to a complete failure.
