Left to come back

"Every night after closing, the cheesecake and apple pie are always gone. There are not many peach pie and chocolate mousse left. But the blueberry pie is almost never touched."
"Why? What's the meaning of blueberry pie." Question?"
"The blueberry pie is okay. Everyone just ordered something else. You can't say what's wrong with the blueberry pie. It's just that no one ordered it."
*After
watching the movie, one person ran to eat the blueberry pie. Blue, it feels melancholy when I read it. I heard that the taste of blueberries is the taste of broken-hearted...a moral, like those canned pineapples eaten by Takeshi Kaneshiro.
The city, railway, and blurred sky in the movie, that color is a kind of beauty that makes people want to cry.
The alienation and destiny of the city have always been the themes of Wong Kar Wai's movies. But this time "Blueberry Night" made me feel the long-lost warmth.
The whole story unfolds in a lazy rhythm, slowly even making some people in the theater boring to yawn.
She left, in order to leave the hurt, she traveled, seeing other people's stories, she came back, to find the meaning of life.
He waited, waited for someone to come back to take the bunch of keys, he waited, waited for postcards, he waited, waited for the girl to return to the store.
A very cliché encounter, a very cliché separation, and a very cliché reunion.
I am very touched. Moved to leave and choose to come back, moved to have been waiting in place.
Someone once told me that those who leave will never look back. But I think-
Goodbye does not always mean the end, Sometimes it means a new beganning. She has walked through this street after 3000 kilometers. With The Greatest jazz soundtrack, everything is perfect.

Finally complain about this damn dub. Be sure to buy the original soundtrack to watch it again.

My Blueberry Nights quotes

  • Elizabeth: Why do you keep them? You should just throw them out.

Jeremy: No. No, I couldn't do that.

    Elizabeth: Why not?

Jeremy: If I threw these keys away then those doors would be closed forever and that shouldn't be up to me to decide, should it?

Elizabeth: I guess I'm just looking for a reason.

Jeremy: From my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing, and other times there's no reason to be found.

    Elizabeth: Everything has a reason.

Jeremy: Hmm. It's like these pies and cakes. At the end of every night, the cheesecake and the apple pie are always completely gone. The peach cobbler and the chocolate mousse cake are nearly finished... but there's always a whole blueberry pie left untouched.

Elizabeth: So what's wrong with the blueberry pie?

Jeremy: There's nothing wrong with the blueberry pie. Just... people make other choices. You can't blame the blueberry pie, just... no one wants it.

  • Elizabeth: [wiping her tears] How do you say goodbye to someone you can't imagine living without? I didn't say goodbye.

    [pause]

Elizabeth: I didn't say anything. I just walked away.
