The film is adapted from the real experience of F·F·Jenkins, the "soprano singer" in the 20th century. It tells the mental journey of an opera lover, Ms. Jenkins, who is dysphonic, singing from a private club all the way to Carnegie Hall. The soprano played by Aunt Mei is definitely the most wonderful role she has ever achieved since her career.
She heard praise, applause and cheers all the time. And her husband even bought comments in the newspaper to protect her reputation. People finally heard the real singing, and the audience who came in at their own expense would not take the initiative to compliment her. Gradually, Zhen Jinsi also found that people's expressions were not right, and some people even trembled with laughter.
